'Help Complete Their Christmas'

Imagine, for one moment, if you took the ‘Merry’ out of Christmas.

What if there was no Christmas dinner to share with your family? Not one single gift to light up the faces of excited children on Christmas morning. Or what if you didn’t even know where you’d be sleeping on Christmas Eve?

For 5,000 people a day, this situation is their reality. The St Vincent de Paul Society receives large numbers of calls for help every single day of the year, and the added pressure at Christmas sees this increase significantly.

You can help us complete Christmas for these people in need, by giving to the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Christmas Appeal.

We visit and help young families who cannot pay their household bills or who are in danger of losing their home. We sit down and chat with lonely men and women who never have visitors over the season of goodwill.  We provide bedding, food, clothing and the hand of compassion and friendship to the homeless, refugee families, women and children escaping family violence and the elderly.

The St Vincent de Paul Society hopes to raise $4 million nationally during the Christmas Appeal, which will enable us to continue providing material, financial and moral assistance to people in disadvantage.
